GREAT DEVICE FOR HOME/TRAVEL WORKOUTS Jul 04, 2010 If you can't get to the gym or are traveling, this is a great device to keep in shape. I like that you can quickly change the cables and increase or decrease the tension. The handles are comfortable to grip and the stretching action is smooth, providing ample resistance throughout movements. Unlike the old metal-spring cables, a tubing exppander can easily be packed in a travel bag. You can find more than a dozen movements by searching the Web or you can invent your own routines. I also like that with an expander you can hit the majority of muscles, even the legs. Eventually, you'll have to replace the cables, so inspect them before using to make sure there are no cracks or other damage. Go for it!
Yup Jun 20, 2010 I waited a year before writing this, so I can be fairly certain of my opinion on the TNTs. I ordered them after having several other cables fail on me. When I got these I thought it was going to be the same story. Basically I felt that the handle would fail. It's hard to explain why; it has to do with the rotating grip which clicks a bit and feels like it compresses in your hand, but it really doesn't. Anyway a year later of heavy use and the whole system is like the day I opened the package. No signs of wear, no damage, no problems at all. If anything the cables themselves have settled in and feel better (smoother) than they did at first. Yes, you can build size with these if desired. They are also great because they engage stabilizer muscles more than free-weights do. Awesome twisting core muscle work is possible with this, which really helps me for some sport specific advantages. The TNT along with a Kettlebell and a Bullworker can truly be all the Gym you ever need.
Exactly what I needed Jun 18, 2010 This my second set of bands and this is exactly what I would recommend to anyone. Triple resistance offers the flexibility I couldn't find with any other band set. Would definately buy again.

this product is trash Jun 09, 2010 The TNT Bands are no good. The bands will snap because of the plastic thing in the tube, it puts a strain on the tube causing it to pop. Just buy the bands from bodylastics. Much better product. The TNT bands are trash "DONT GET THEM"
Best design I have found yet... Jun 08, 2010 I was aggressively looking for a set of cables that offered enough resistance while at the same time giving me the confidence that they wouldn't break in some way.
These are the ones I have been looking for, I primarily use these by wrapping them around the leg of one of my couches and then doing seated rows on my floor. The way the handle is designed, I see no way that they would "fail" and allow for a high tension rubber band to snap back in my face.
Plenty of resistance with a sturdy handle, what else does one need?
